Delete your Blab account

You can permanently delete your account in the app or request deletion here if you no longer have access to it.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address used for your Blab account. We will verify that you control the account, complete the request within seven calendar days, and confirm when deletion is finished.

Request account deletion

Never send us your password. If you cannot email from the account address, explain that in your request so we can arrange another verification step.

Delete immediately in the app

Open Profile.
Select Delete account.
Review the warning and confirm deletion.

What deletion removes

Your Blab authentication account and profile.
Your messages and saved translations associated with those messages.
Your chat memberships, invites, and block list.

Deletion is permanent. Backups and service-provider logs expire on their normal cycles, typically within 30 to 90 days.

Limited safety retention

If information is part of an abuse or safety report, we may retain a minimized evidence copy for 180 days after the report is resolved, or longer when a legal hold or reporting duty requires it. Access is restricted to the operator and the information is used only for safety, enforcement, or legal compliance.
